Description

We cover all benefits of lighting systems to you and your customers as well as what they can achieve. Wiring for lighting and definitions of load, voltage, current and power are covered. We discuss what a dimmer does and different lamp types you will come across as well as switched devices such as motorised screens and extractor fans. A practical workshop is used to test your lighting design skills and you will formulate a system specification from either Helvar or Lutron. We focus on a single room environment in this course but the knowledge can be used to expand to the whole house.
